Jeff Sessions’ story is a vintage American story: from working class son to U.S. Senator; a military vet and a man of faith and family who loves the law and believes in equal justice for all. Jeff Sessions is no elitist. He came to Washington to drain the swamp and has never sold out. Jeff Sessions will take action to restore integrity to the Justice Department, champion the rule of law, and fight for everyday Americans.
- Jeff Sessions and his wife, Mary Blackshear Sessions, have three children: Mary Abigail Reinhardt, Ruth Sessions Walk, and Sam. They have ten grandkids, seven granddaughters and three grandsons.
- His dad was owner of a country store, while Jeff was an Eagle Scout who wound up working his way through college to get his undergraduate degree.
- After getting his law degree, Sessions joined the U.S. Army Reserve and rose to the rank of Captain. He also then began to practice law; a career which led him through stints as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, U.S. Attorney and Attorney General for the state of Alabama.
- All along he has remained grounded in hard work, faith and family, serving as a lay leader and Sunday School teacher at the Ashland Place United Methodist Church in Mobile.
